This Shungite is Type 3 and 30% Carbon. The tip of the pendulum does not come to a sharp point on many of these and appears like it has been flattened to keep the tips from breaking off since Shungite is a relatively soft stone. The flattened ones are not broken and this does not inhibit how it works as a pendulum.
