AMPHIBOLE IN QUARTZ

Amphibole is most popularly a Quartz inclusion. It is not always colorful or interesting, but many times the amphibole contains trace elements that give it color. The most prominent colors of Amphibole Quartz are usually green, yellow, orange, and occasionally pink and blue. Excellent Amphibole Quartz is currently being produced in Pakistan and Brazil. In Pakistan, it grows on a base of green epidote. X
