HIMALAYAN QUARTZ

The majority of Indian Quartz in the market comes from both Karur in the South and many different areas in the far North high in the Himalayas. Alpine deposits produce a stunning array of water clear Quartz, sometimes with etchings. Nepal in particular is known for its extremely clear Quartz. In the Indian Himalayas, a wide variety of included Quartz is found, seemingly with a new type every year or so surfacing, and then disappearing again.
