Elite Shungite is 99% carbon. This is a new find from Colombia found in the spring of 2021. It was tested at the Gemological Institute of America and confirmed. Elite Shungite is very brittle. While we pack all of our items very carefully, please expect small amounts of flakes to come off of the main stone during transport. We are telling you up front and will not accept returns or refunds for tiny amounts of flakes falling off in shipping. This is due to the nature of how brittle this material is. IF your stone crumbles significantly or breaks apart in large amounts during shipping we will compensate to make sure you are satisfied.
