Faden means "thread" in German, and refers to the white line that usually runs through the center of the crystal. Faden Quartz comes from a handful of locations worldwide but is most prevalent in Pakistan. Historically it came from Waziristan but more recently has been found in the city of Quetta in Northern Pakistan. It also comes from many other alpine-type localities.

This item was once owned by Bobby McCall, Supreme Troll on Ebay. Bobby died in mid-July of 2011. He was a dear friend, spanning a friendship of several lifetimes. Bobby was very sensitive to the stones, and obsessively cleansed them energetically before he offered them for sale. Many of his customers bought his stones for the energy that he put into them. He was a very special man who helped out everyone who crossed his path that needed help. He always had open arms and a tremendously kind heart towards all people and animals. We were fortunate enough to get a chance to own (and buy back) many of Bobby's stones. It is our intention to help spread Bobby's message and energy to the world once again, in honor of his life and legacy as such an amazing human full of compassion and care for people, many whom he had never even met! We are now offering many of the exact same stones that he had on his Ebay store for sale again.
