Anhydrite is the only mineral that is created by the evaporation of ocean water. It is rarely found in nature, because it is unstable and very fragile. Rio Grande do Sul in Brazil managed to preserve the forms of some anhydrite crystals in specimens like this: large, flower-like pseudomorphs of quartz taking the form of the original anhydrite crystals. This "Flower of the Sea" is a delightful edition to any collection. The divergent crystal casts are preserved with pristine detail, and the size is enough to add some major impact to your display. Prime material for the pseudomorph or aesthetics collector.
This item is one of a kind and you will receive the EXACT piece(s) pictured. Macro photography is used to show detail but can make items appear larger than their actual size. Please refer to the size ranges and note whether they are in centimeters or inches. 1 inch = 2.54 centimeters.
Gems and crystals are great for altars, grids, terrariums, pocket stones, gifts, home decorating, collecting and more! They are also wonderful additions to meditation, reiki and chakra work. Each stone is unique and beautiful so please expect slight variations in color, texture, and size. Healing crystals are not a replacement for traditional medical treatment.
