6 x 3 x 2 inches
We specialize in quartz with rare and interesting inclusions, and this piece is a unique treat that stands up with some of the best. You may have heard of rutilated quartz, but have you ever seen anatase-ated quartz (anatized?)?! Anatase is a dimorph of rutile, sharing the same elemental composition (an oxide of titanium). This group of quartz clusters has bipyramidal anatase crystals inside of it, some of which penetrate the surface of the quartz as well. Not only is this a rare occurrence, but the specimen is also quite large, measuring 6 inches wide! The main quartz crystal is well terminated and makes for a very sculptural display piece. An affordable chance to own a substantial rare anatase combination. A connoisseur’s choice.
