Cabinet sized specimen featuring lustrous green uvite tourmaline crystals, on a bed of calcite crystals and magnesite from Brumado, Brazil. The uvite crystals are sharp and perfectly formed, with a unique appearance that looks similar to green glass. They have a unique tabular formation, rather uncommon in other species of the tourmaline group. The magnesite at this locality is particularly well formed, and this piece is no exception. Coupled with some equally well developed calcite crystals, and you have a perfect example of how these rare green tourmalines formed. An alluring and attractive display piece for the sly collector!
