The Democratic Republic of Congo has some of the greatest copper deposits on earth, both for ore and specimen diversity. While one of the more logistically challenging countries in Africa, the Democratic Republic of Congo produces the majority of the world's Malachite. There are great pseudomorph combo's from the famous Tantara mine and others. Recently, in the country Congo (different from the DRC), the Brazzaville region has been producing some exceptional copper coho minerals that rival some of the finer combos from Tsumeb!
