Minas Gerias, Brazil
Garden, Landscape, Fantasy, and Lodalite are all words we have seen used to describe this oddly included Quartz from Brazil. The inclusion is actually unknown but looks somewhat sand-like and comes in various colors. Formations can be quite unusual and the range of colors, patterns, and oddities inside these Quartzes are quite vast. We have been lucky enough to purchase a handful of these high quality crystals over the years!
Minas Gerais is perhaps the most famous and prolific mining region in the world in regards to sheer volume of productivity of specimens and gem rough! It contains the majority of Brazil's mineral specimen diversity, multiple pegmatite systems, and a long history and culture has developed around mining and specimen collecting. It is such a common region to label, that most just abbreviate it as MG, Brazil.
