Chlorite in Quartz comes from many regions across the globe. Bright Green solid phantoms in water clear quartz are not very common, but highly sought after! Chlorite Quartz is usually found in alpine deposits, which also are known for producing odd habits and formations. The Chinese mineral industry produces an array of specimens from several rich regions within its borders! We cannot think of Chinese minerals without first thinking of Fluorite. China has the greatest variety of Fluorites of any country! What China lacks in pegmatite minerals, it makes up for in the prolific new sulfide deposits of Inner Mongolia. One thing is for sure about China... when it produces, it usually produces in quantity! As the Chinese continue further into industrialization, more regions are extricated for their needs, and more specimens will become available.
