Garden, Landscape, Fantasy, and Lodalite are all words we have seen used to describe this oddly included Quartz from Brazil. The inclusion is actually unknown but looks somewhat sand-like and comes in various colors. Formations can be quite unusual and the range of colors, patterns, and oddities inside these Quartzes are quite vast. We have been lucky enough to purchase a handful of these high quality crystals over the years!
Brazil is the one country that has the largest network of specimen and gem mining in the world. It is well known for many of the world's best pegmatites, producing high class Gem Crystals. Brazil has the widest variety of multi-colored Tourmaline worldwide, and is semi-regularly producing new colors every few years. The vast array of Quartz varieties from Brazil deserve a book of their own.
