Zagi Mountain Region, Pakistan
Zagi Mountain is most well known for its Quartzes and rare earth minerals. Huge sized Basneasites, Xenotimes, Parasites, Monozites, et al can be found here. The Quartz inclusions are also vast. Within just 1 piece from Zagi Mountain we have seen inclusions of Aegerine, Riebeckite, multiple colors bending of Rutile, Astrophyllite, and traces of fluorescent Yttrium. On rare occasion, a Quartz included with Bastnaesite can be found! Quartz was our first stone passion! For a decade and a half we have attempted to gather as much diversely included and colorful Quartzes as we could find, from every corner of the globe, traveling both to country of origin, and utilizing a vast network of suppliers developed through exhibiting at major USA and international gem and mineral shows. We offer for sale some of the best of our finds, as well as a tremendous volume that has just piled up as a result of wholesaling in volume! If you have a variety of aesthetic Quartz to add to our collection, we'd love to see a flat of material! We also personally collect high quality fine Quartzes, so feel free to email us if you have something special for sale.
Pakistan boasts a rich array of minerals, many of which have yet to be uncovered. High in the Himalayas, miners attempt insane mountaineering to get to gem pegmatites. Known worldwide first and foremost for stunning Aquamarine specimens, Pakistan regularly surprises the mineral community with combo minerals and new finds all the time. It also hosts a large amount of the pegmatite minerals that are found in Afghanistan, as many of these finds cross the border.
