RHODOCHROSITE

Rhodochrosite is a highly sought after Manganese Carbonate. Common pink rough can be found in many places of the world and bright red gemmy crystals can be found from famous localities like Colorado, South Africa, and Peru. The most prolific deposit is a famous mine in Argentina named Capillitas, which was mined by the government for precious metals, and they ran across HUGE stalactites of Rhodo! There are many other specimen and rough deposits, but very few of them are regularly producing currently.
